Job Description :
Support Bosch Charleston plant with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or SAP system improvements and related IT activities for several specific functional areas. The primary functional or manufacturing process areas to be supported are as follows: 1) plant maintenance planning, 2) manufacturing production reporting processes, and 3) coordination of manufacturing IT related projects, and 4) indirect purchasing or spare parts. Position is within a local department that supports improvements to processes linked to the global ERP systems implemented across the facility, working with a range of groups within and outside the NCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:•Supports ERP or SAP improvement and standardization activities directed by plant leadership within their functional areas to meet ChP goals and related metric improvements •Coordinates plant requests for changes and improvements to these processes•Responsible to track and manage open ERP or SAP system related needs within their functional areas •Primary contact and interface for external Bosch groups (US or worldwide) for ERP or SAP related issues•Coordinate externally driven ERP or SAP requirements within Charleston plant•Coordinate and support experienced Charleston associates (Key Users) that serve as initial point of contact for their area for ERP or SAP needs•Leads problem solving for more complex or difficult SAP-UBK-RM related issues•Provide expert support for ChP user system authorization access & special reporting needs•Provide basic know-how for IT Project management support, & support IT related projects
Job Requirements :
•Business process know-how of the basic manufacturing processes in the functional areas supported by the position, or proven aptitude to learn the processes where previous experience is missing •Previous ERP or SAP type process expertise, ideally within a manufacturing or process type industry•matched with ability to coordinate needs for other areas of responsibility with less working knowledge•4 year degree required, preferably Engineering, Business or IT field•Experience and ability to lead groups and delegate tasks in a collaborative, international team oriented environment•Experience with Lean principals and value stream mapping is preferred•Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Products•Able to travel, including internationally•Good ability to balance activities and prioritize workload under pressure•Customer service mindset•Strong organization skills, with good project management skills
