Equity Derivatives - Market Specialist
The Role
Bloomberg is looking for a qualified Equity Derivatives professional to join our growing market specialist group in New York. Applicants should possess a deep body of knowledge and experience in the Equity Derivative Markets. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter, comfortable in a demanding and client-driven environment.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-level analytical expertise to clients, our sales force, and product developers
- Directly impacting sales by on-site meetings with clients and prospects where you can present unique Bloomberg solutions
- Influencing the direction of our product by providing feedback to Bloomberg's business managers on user demand, market practices and product enhancements
- Furthering the knowledge of our sales force through intensive internal training and seminars
- Educate clients by presenting at local and regional seminars, professional market events and industry conferences
- Conducting high-level discussions about the equity derivative markets (and Bloomberg's unique suite of tools for assessing relative value in this space) with clients and internal stake-holders
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the Equity Derivative markets
- 3+ years experience in sales is desired
- 5+ years Bloomberg Professional service experience required
- Ability to develop and maintain client relationships
- Exemplary presentation, training and communication skills
- Willing to travel as customer demands and market conditions required
