Provide emergency response, site assessment, and removal project support including serving as a team lead or backup team lead. Report generation is required. Provides timely task status reports and other required reports to Project Managers. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications:
Two to five years experience and a BA/BS in biology/chemistry/geology, environmental engineering or a related field. Demonstrated experience conducting emergency response and removal actions that require environmental impact assessment; multi-media sampling of hazardous waste; facilitating disaster response planning and execution; evaluating broad media impacts of spills, releases, and discharges of oil or hazardous substances into the environment; and thorough working knowledge of natural resource laws that include, but not limited to, CERCLA/SARA, RCRA, DOT, OSHA, TSCA, NFPA, NPDES, OPA, CWA, to ensure regulatory compliance. Experience and knowledge of FEMA and Basic Incident Command (ICS) Level 200 and 40 hrs OSHA HAZWOPER/annual refresher current certificates a plus. Excellent writing, report preparation and computer skills (Excel and Word) required. Job requires bending, stooping, lifting, use of technical equipment, and work in inclement environments.
