eCommerce Manager (Sports Management/Finance)

We are looking for an experienced eCommerce Manager to drive our company's strategic vision and corporate objectives across our liquidation website. The eCommerce Manager will act as the liaison between the eCommerce team, sales channels and the product teams. This position will be responsible for providing guidance on daily operations, key performance indicators, and best practices. The manager will be expected to collaborate across product merchandise teams on EOL strategizes to provide recommendations for execution to achieve the 3 year annual operating plans growth targets.


Basic Functions:

ú Influence and motivate a team of associates to exceed sales and margin goals.
ú Responsible for the day-to-day operations of online store.
ú Driving the sales growth expectations by understanding the site-wide Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
ú Work closely with the product management team and cross functional areas (merchandising, technology, creative, marketing, project management office) to drive and manage the existing site experience and driving improvements in Sales.
ú Partner with in-market business owners to assist in building detailed business requirements and ensuring milestones are met and initiatives are delivered on time with the correct customer experience.
ú Coordination with call center/servicing organizations to be prepared to sell and service products based on changes and updates to the web site.
ú Review and provide insight to business owners on weekly and monthly business reports, metrics and recaps.
ú Manage the day to day Visual Merchandising and Content Management Team to ensure the product line presentation meets financial and inventory goals.
ú Coordinate with buying and planning team on product offering, pricing cadence and flow strategies to achieve financial success while maintaining the Brand.
ú Ensure best practices are being applied and successful metrics are achieved.
ú Responsible for the Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly reporting, re-caps and go forward communication to management and product teams on sales performance, demand, project results, GM and strategic initiative performance.
ú Assist the Director in the creation of the annual operating plan, quarterly business reports and eCommerce annual budget.


Qualifications

ú 5+ years of combined professional experience in both web and eCommerce environments.
ú 3+ years of liquidation management experience, preferably in an eCommerce environment.
ú 4+ years of team management experience with current working knowledge of leadership principles and practices.
ú Ability to develop and analyze financial/business data as well as specific experience with budgeting, cost estimating, and fiscal management principles and procedures.
ú Experience with managing and optimizing online marketing tactics with an emphasis on efficient spending to generate high ROI.
ú Proficient Internet user, both professionally and personally.
ú Well-versed in understanding and harnessing the power of web analytics.
ú Knowledge of Internet technology platforms and tools.
ú Ability to work in fast-paced environment with the flexibility to accommodate demanding projects schedules.
ú Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
ú Should be a motivated, process-oriented self-starter with high attention to detail.
ú Proven track record, assessing, selecting, developing and motivating a team to top performance.
ú Ability to foster a cooperative, results-driven work environment.
ú Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
ú Must be proficient in MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
