Title: Earned Value Management Analyst, Mid Location: Maryland-Annapolis Junction
Key Role: Support all earned value functions with limited supervision. Participate in the tracking, analysis, and reporting of contracts of varying types, sizes, complexity, and levels of risk. Develop and analyze work breakdown structures (WBS) and estimates at completion (EAC), provide analytical support to the maintenance of program budgets, monitor actual costs and commitments, administer subcontract efforts, and prepare portions of program review presentations. Provide analytical support to facilitate the preparation of financial deliverables as required per the contract for internal and external use. Demonstrate and apply experience with earned value management (EVM) and the drivers behind the calculations of a project's EAC, budget cost of work performance, actual cost of work performed, and budgeted cost of work scheduled. Interface with team members in the finance, program management, contracts, pricing, procurement, and account receivable functions and prepare what-if scenarios. Basic Qualifications: -6 years of experience with EVM, including IT project implementation and life-cycle planning -Knowledge of EVM tools, including Cost Manager, Cobra, MPM, and Insight -TS/SCI clearance with polygraph -BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications: -Experience with Microsoft Project and Primavera -Experience with government consulting a plus -Knowledge of ANSI 748-A and DoD guidelines for earned value -Ability to exhibit adaptability, initiative, and innovativeness to deal with ambiguous and fast-paced situations -Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, and problem solving skills -Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
