FUNCTION:Earned Value Management Analyst
LOCATION:Albuquerque Operations - Albuquerque, NM
EDUCATION REQUIRED:Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:The position requires three equivalent years of experience in analysis and technical management. Two years experience credit for Master's degree or three years experience credit for a Ph.D.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:Applicants should possess a working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts, analysis, techniques in addition to excellent communication and quantitative analytical skills, be proficient in MS Office (i.e., Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), performing government EVM analyses and oversight, generating basic cost estimates, preparing reports and presentations.
The ability to work well autonomously or in a team environment and a Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, or financial management is required in a addition to a working knowledge of the DoD acquisition and project management process. Scheduling and DoD Budget cycle experience is highly desirable.
RESPONSIBILITIES:This position will provide evaluations and analyses of contractor EVM reports, advise project managers on cost and schedule activities, and evaluate cost proposals. Will work closely with government staff personnel, government program office teams, and contractors. Primary responsibilities will be to perform earned value analysis, provide oversight, participate in Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) activities, perform schedule analysis, perform cost estimates, write technical reports, prepare briefings for the customer and prepare management reports.
