Portfolio Manager The Global Risk Oversight group is a newly formed department within Risk Management, created specifically to provide independent validation of all AXP's risk models and develop an independent view of AXP's credit decisions and portfolio trends in order to improve the quality of risk outcomes, strengthen long term shareholder value and satisfy regulatory institutions.
Operational Risk Manager This position is responsible for capture and analysis of internal operational risk events as part of the American Express Operational Risk Management Group. The mission of Operational Risk Management Group (ORMG) is to drive the operational risk program at American Express. Through a collaborative partnership with the business, ORMG provides operational risk guidance and oversight through the design, implementation and ongoing management of the Company's Operational Risk Framework.
Strategic Information Management This position will be responsible for developing advanced decision analytics and strategy to drive revenue for the OPEN business as well as developing innovative customer insights that leverage closed loop data. You will be using various data mining and statistical modeling techniques as well as other quantitative analyses.
These positions are open to recent graduates and experienced MBA's, Masters and PhDs.

SKILLS Innovative; principled team player Highly ambitious with a desire to excel Aptitude in displaying and communicating data analysis Ability to manipulate large datasets and samples Strong analytical, problem solving/quantitative abilities Strong project management skills Ability to interact with and influence all staff levels from line through senior management Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills Strong computer programming skills a plus (i.e. SAS, UNIX, etc.)
