Director - Technical Reporting

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, assuming this role, the selected candidate will have the following responsibilities: * Oversee GAAP compliance with worldwide corporate accounting policies, processes, and procedures* Assess the impact of new FASB, AICPA, and EITF rules and regulations on the company's financial position and financial statements* Manage a team of approximately 5 that is responsible for the corporate consolidation, legal entity reporting, maintaining the ledgers of 'corporate' entities and the annual audit* Ensure revenue accounting policies are documented and applied consistently on a world-wide basis* Oversee preparation of the quarterly and year-end financial reports to the Board, Private Equity Owners, Lenders, and others* Implement initiatives as needed to enhance control compliance with U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) including convergence standards under IFRS* Assist with M/A due diligence, integration; and oversee purchase accountingSpecific Qualifications (items are required unless otherwise noted): * A CPA with 8 to 12 years of experience in financial accounting in a corporate environment, consolidations, financial reporting, public accounting, or combination thereof* A mix of (a) public company, high-tech industry experience in a multi-national organization and (b) experience in public accounting is desired* Strong working knowledge of technical accounting literature
