Director of Decision Support and Financial Analysis Department: Decision Support Schedule:Full-timeShift:Hours:Job Details:- Bachelor Degree req. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related area required. Master's Degree in Business Admin or Hospital Admin preferred. CPA and FHFMA strongly preferred but not required. Must have more than 5 years healthcare provider finance with concentration on financial analysis, decision support, revenue cycle and reimbursement experience. Previous experience must be w/in leading a Decision Support and/or Financial Planning function. Strong financial analysis, business case development and pro-forma development experience also required. The Director of Decision Support and Financial Analysis is primarily responsible for developing and preparing financial analyses, financial projections, financial modeling and reports used by management in St. Vincent's HealthCare's decision making process. This includes establishing procedures to ensure accurate collection, summarization, reporting and interpretation of budget, cost, statistical and outcomes data, establishing and maintaining hospital-specific costing methodologies, overseeing system requirements and training needs regarding the Decision Support System and supporting the financial planning process through analysis and evaluation of financial viability of prospective business ventures, major capital investments and strategic planning projects. This position provides direction and leadership to Business Analysts and Financial Analysts, and participates with operations personnel to analyze the profitability of various lines of service. This position is also responsible for maintaining and supporting reporting activities carried out though Hyperion applications. In addition to maintaining and applying Kauffman Hall ENUFF analytics on an as required basis. Must possess technical and professional accounting skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
