Director of Accounting for SVMC Department: Financial Accounting Schedule:Full-timeShift:Hours:Job Details:- Bachelor Degree req. Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred. CPA and FHFMA strongly preferred but not required. Must have more than 5 years Manager of Accounting experience dealing with hospital accounting in a hospital of 200+ beds. Director of Accounting with St. Vincent's Medical Center is responsible for system wide accounts payable, payroll, fixed asset accounting, treasury and system reporting. Must be knowledgeable of every aspect of every business relationship, business activity or transaction that results in data being recorded on St. Vincent's financial statements. The Director coordinates with other areas such as reimbursement, budgeting, payroll, etc. to insure the continuing timeliness and the financial integrity of information recorded on St. Vincent's financial statements. Responsibilities for accounting and reporting for SVMC includes but not limited to: Internal Financial Statements, participation in the development of all journal entries and account reconciliations, board reporting as requested, and participate in internal and external audits. Must have strong financial accounting and financial analysis skills. Along with excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
