Job Title: Director, Forensic, Corporate Finance and Bankruptcy Litigation Services Description: RSM McGladrey is the 5th largest accounting, tax and business consulting firm in the nation - With annual revenues of over $1 billion, we employ approximately 7000 individuals in more than 100 offices across the nation. We currently have a Director level opportunity available with our Financial Advisory Services Team (Litiagtion Services). This position serves as a critical role in the areas of forensics, corporate finance and bankruptcy litigation matters. As a summary, the position provides services in the areas of forencsics, corporate finance and bankruptcy litigation matters. Will have overall responsibility for the growth and profitability of the department; be responsible for the development and implementation of a formal marketing plan; development/management of engagements, recruiting and leading litigation staff members. * Develops and implements growth-drive business/marketing plan to include market sector assessment and analysis, projected sales/revenue, leads and other initiatives targeted toward potential clients. Meets regularly with Practice Managing Director to formalize and align plans and strategies. ---- Generates and follow-up on leads, makes sales calls, and closes the deals. Looks for ways to build on client base and expand services/cross-sell where possible. * Develops engagement plans and manages all engagements. Monitors engagement budgets to ensure engagements are on time and within budget, monitor service delivery to ensure high quality service, manages engagement staff, and resolves engagement/client issues on a timely basis. Acts as expert witness when needed. * Develops staffing strategy, hires and provides ongoing coaching, feedback, and development. Conducts formal meetings to review Goals, Development Plans, Mid-year Assessments, and year-end Assessments. Provides feedback during/following key engagements. Where necessary initiatives timely action on employees who are not meeting expectations by placing them on a formal Performance Improvement Plan. * Monitors department financials to ensure they are meeting/exceeding plan. Make adjustments to plan as needed to remain profitable. Approves all expenses. * Provides ongoing and timely formal and informal communication to Senior Leadership regarding the development and profitability of department. Also provides ongoing and timely formal and informal communication to staff regarding the department’s financials, new initiatives, and changes. Participates in management meetings and conduct regular staff meetings. Solicits input from both Senior Leaders and Staff. REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: * 7-15 years experience in forensic, corporate finance and bankruptcy litigation support services * Experience in forensic/bankruptcy litigation matters in State and Federal courts * Must have proven track record as an expert witness * Must have proven track record in business development * Motivated – self-starter * CPA, MBA * Certifications in forensics/Insolvency * Experienced in hiring and leading staff
