This is a rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a fast growing division of Apria; a home healthcare service management company providing a new approach to coordinating patient care. Reporting to the SVP of this division; you will have complete hands on responsibility and oversight for the division finance function. This position provides upward mobility as the division grows.

• Oversees the daily cash management function.
• Analyzes and reports cash activity, manages bank balances and initiates fund transfers.
• Responsible for managing and reporting on payables (A/P), receivables (A/R) and ensuring timely billing and invoice preparation.
• Responsible for the financial analysis necessary to accept/reject proposed criteria and to determine financial impact to company.
• Ensures accuracy of the database and ensures proper reporting and disclosure in the financial statements.
• Participates in the preparation of the periodic financial reports required by States and other regulatory agencies.
• Related tasks include, but are not limited to, the preparation of the consolidated financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and SEC regulations, accumulation of information required to be disclosed in the documents, researching the various disclosure requirements and drafting the text of the disclosures.
• Ensures project deadlines and performance standards are established and met.
• Development policies and procedures for department
• Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Finance or Accounting is required.
• At least eight years of related broad based finance and accounting experience is required.
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Ability to work successfully in a start up environment.
• Insurance/ Managed Care experience preferred
• Experience with JD Edwards and Essbase / HFM financial systems a plus
