The Director Credit Architecture will have a critical role in leading the creation of innovation of credit product and business processes. Credit products include the products that are currently live, in development, or planned for the Global Financial Services business including Bill Me Later, private label products, credit cards, online credit, deferred payment products, and credit products and services to support the POS (retail point of sale) initiatives. The scope includes design and operability to be leveraged globally.
This person will be engaged with business owners, business design teams and product development teams to lead the detailed Business and Product architecture with considerations to the full product lifecycle. This person should have adequate vision to existing products, product roadmaps, best practices, and credit domain knowledge in order to lead the design of functionality and processes that are optimized for long term product functionality, operability, quality, control, and re-use.
Job Requirements:
Collaborate with the Business Unit to understand product roadmap, global market and customer requirements.
Work with Credit and horizontal partners to understand business requirements.
Lead the creation of the Business and Product architecture documents with detailed vetting of different options, recommendations of business solutions, detailed requirements, and product and process definitions.
Act as a subject matter expert for credit products in both the credit team and in engagements with other PayPal teams and external vendors.
Lead multiple projects simultaneously and effectively work with teams across various geographies.
Lead the product architecture through the entire product development lifecycle - ideation, BRD, PRD, design reviews, test case reviews, release specific activities, beta programs, feedback, etc.
