DESCRIPTION
The Director will manage the team responsible for Control, Monitoring and Oversight of CIT's 400 Legal Entities to ensure accurate Legal Entity based Financial Reporting. The team's role will require coordinating with Business Segment CFO's, accounting operations teams, local statutory reporting groups, and the Regulatory Reporting team to ensure consistency. Initially this role will be responsible for aligning entities, however this role will drive process improvements that will ensure the existing accounting and reporting operations are performed with greater focus on Legal Entities, both from a local statutory and US gaap perspective.
This role will require additional effort to ensure the meeting of quarterly close filing deadlines.
REQUIRED SKILLS
-15+ years experience with a 4 year degree and CPA required. -Finance Industry background -Knowledge of BHC regulatory reporting requirements, and Technical Accounting background preferred. -Effective organizational and communication skills -Good problem solving and analytical skills -Strong PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
