Database Management Analyst
The Analyst's primary duty includes one or more of the following: * Planning, Programming, or Modeling * Perform in one of the following sub-roles: * Database Administrator: designs and configures complex databases with replication and multi-nodes, develops comprehensive DB implementation / upgrade plans, translates logical to physical design, creates DB objects, builds back-up, recovery, and load scripts, and can support development through to production; utilizing proficiency in database and/or SQL analysis and tuning * Data Administrator: creates, analyzes, translates, and maintains complex logical and/or physical data models, Meta data repositories, and data catalogues; maintains security event logs; ensures all productions changes are made in accordance with lifecycle methodology and risk guidelines (this position should typically be used for an advanced or lead-level resource).
Specific Roles and Responsibilities: * Execute Server builds * Resolve identified security and compliance issues * Perform disaster recovery functions * Administer changes into the system * Work a Peregrine ticket queue * Document processes * Participate and perform on-call rotation approximately once every 10 to 12 weeks * Participate in project meetings * Perform other work as directed by a Manager
