The Mutual Fund Reconciliation platform is a daily system that balances all fund financial activity against the street side account. This application is critical for the operations team to reconcile daily. There are eight mutual fund representatives that use the distributed platform all day.
Primary Responsibilities * Support for the MF226 distributed application * New Development for the MF226 mutual fund application * Respond to adhoc requests for the OSG mutual fund reconciliation user team
Education and Experience * Bachelor's Degree is required * At least 4-5 years of programming experience on a distributed platform * Knowledge of the financial services industry with an emphasis on mutual funds
Skills and Knowledge * Database development experience in Sybase or Oracle * Unix OS developer utilizing shell script languages - Bourne shell, Korn shell and C shell * SQL performance and tuning specialist. * Sybase Transact SQL and Oracle PL/SQl procedural languages * Knowledge of legacy mainframe systems is a plus but not required with prior experience in COBOL2, DB2/CICS REXX, CLIST * FTP - secure shell RSH * Some Informix DBA knowledge is a plus but not required
