The LOB/Regional Diversity & Inclusion Program Manager is responsible for providing consulting services to the respective/assigned LOB/Region, LOB /Regional Diversity & Inclusion Business Council, senior leaders across the business on the development, implementation and monitoring of global diversity and inclusion strategies for assigned business. This senior specialist serves as the LOB/Region D&I Subject Matter Expert. Partners with the business and the HR Analyst team to develop appropriate metrics and benchmarks and monitor progress against goals. Partners with key LOB/Regional functions to drive specific enterprise diversity projects within LOB/Region, considering the specific needs of the LOB/Region.
Job Description:
The D&I Program Manager will support the Global Banking & Markets (GBAM) Division of Bank of America with their Diversity & Inclusion initiatives. GBAM is a powerful combination of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, which means we can do more for our clients than any other financial services firm. We understand the challenges our clients face around the world, and we tap the full resources of our company to help achieve those goals. The GBAM solutions span the complete range of advisory, capital raising, banking, treasury and liquidity, sales and trading, and research capabilities.
Responsibilities include: In partnership with the GBAM D&I Executive this role will: * Serve as collaborator for planning and organizing events. * Work with GBAM HR to gather data for development and presentation of metrics and reporting for leadership. * Assist with the development of balanced scorecards for GBAM Diversity & Inclusion. * Maintain calendar of events for D&I activity across GBAM and at Enterprise level * Organize and coordinate DIBC meetings and materials * Prepare ad hoc PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets for senior leadership * Assist in Creation of tactical work plans and milestone targets for respective work streams ensuring milestones/tasks are clearly defined and documented as well as manage status updates to milestone targets. * Monitor communications of GBAM and enterprise of D&I events * Work with Communications to design and launch GBAM DIBC website Required Skills: * 2-5 years experience working in a Global Banking & Markets environment and /or Financial Services experience with strong business acumen. * Proven project management skills and the ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously * Excellent communication skills - written and oral - with a range of internal and external audiences. * BA/BS Degree * Strong team player with the ability to work effectively at all levels. * Strong leadership, facilitation and presentation skills * Demonstrated ability to constructively challenge the status quo proposing new models, ideas, and process improvement * Demonstrated ability to self-manage, identify key priorities, take initiative and deliver objectives. * Strong computer skills with an emphasis on Excel and Power Point applications Desired Skills: * Familiarity with Diversity & Inclusion initiatives including active participation. * Proven ability to build key relationships across the organization and with external Diversity & Inclusion partners.
