. Responsible for analyzing and preparing reports to be distrubuted to our clients or correspondents . Responsible for researching, analyzing and identifying trends based on internal and external audit findings. . Identify and recommend necessary training enhancements for various business units to ensure all investor guidelines are consistently met. . Responsible for managing vendor relationships and ensuring that new guidelines are communicated and implemented effectively. . Responsible for researching and analyzing findings identified by Clients, Investors, Regulatory Agencies, 3rd Party Auditors and Internal Audits. . Responsible for researching and analyzing data to be presented in our monthly EQC meeting. . Responsible for researching and preparing Loan Client or Correspondent Summaries to be distributed to clients or correspondents and some interaction with clients/correspondents to discuss findings and relay corrective action steps identified by business owners. . Responsible for following up on documents to cure deficiency findings.
Qualifications:
. Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience required . 1+ years experience analyzing internal & external audit findings from Clients, Investors, Regulatory Agencies, 3rd Party Auditors & Internal Audits . Knowledge of retail and wholesale business channel . Processing and/or underwriting experience required . Strong communication skills both written & oral . Strong Reporting, Analyzing & Trending Skills with the ability to utilize Microsoft Access, Excel and PHH business systems to facilitate management reports is required. . Demonstrated knowledge and expertise with secondary marketing underwriting guidelines and products inclusive of GSE, Jumbo and non-conforming loans. . Experience with income analysis for qualifying self-employed borrowers including but not limited to sole proprietorships, S-corps, C-corps, partnerships and limited liability corporations. . Strong knowledge of FHA/VA, Specialty and Conventional underwriting guidelines is required. . Extensive knowledge of all programs offered; extensive knowledge of investor guidelines and mortgage processing procedures is required. . Excellent decision making and analytical skills, ability to render sound decisions and recommendations after receiving related data, circumstances, options and consequences. . Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. . Proven ability to interact and build relationships with other departments.
