Title Credit Fixed Income Desk Analyst Job Reference # 62662BR Location United States - Connecticut City Stamford Function Category Research & Analysis Business Divisions Investment Bank Job Type Full Time Description The UBS Investment Bank based in Stamford, CT is seeking qualified candidates for Associate Credit Fixed Income Desk Analyst positions (NO, Associate or entry Director Level). The individual will work closely with senior analysts and search for trading opportunities for clients and the desks trading books in corporate bonds, CDS and bank debt supporting the Investment Grade Credit Flow business. Desk analysts will also participate on underwriting assignments from time to time, including due diligence and marketing.
We have three spots open and are looking for Directors and below; Multiple positions covering a variety of sectors. Requirements Candidates will possess strong financial analysis skills, including modeling financial statements, valuation, liquidity and, ideally, a working knowledge of financial covenants. Previous experience in credit or equity research, credit trading, distressed debt or leveraged loans is preferred.
The associate analysts will work with senior analysts to cover 2-4 sectors. Examples of sectors that we are hiring for include: Technology, Media, Telecom, Automotive, Industrials, Stressed Financials and Special Situations. Knowledge of these sectors is helpful but not required.
