Credit & Collections Specialist Our digital media client, located west of Boston, has an immediate need for a Credit & Collections specialist to join their team on a contract to hire basis. Responsibilities: Responsible for developing, collection of age receivables, investigating credit and recommending credit limits. Following established guidelines, takes action to recover delinquent accounts. Performs collection/calling on credit accounts. Pulls credit reports and coordinates collection of appropriate data for reporting receivable issues to management. Researches account discrepancies. Evaluates credit adjustments for accuracy. Actions will differ depending on size and age of account. Performs collection activities on past due accounts, conducts credit investigations, and approves credit requests for assigned area. Contacts clients by telephone and written communications to collect on past due accounts. Adjust invoices and reconciling of accounts. Qualifications: Associates degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred. Two to four years credit and collections experience Knowledge of accounting concepts and ability to use Great Plaines software. Excellent interpersonal, organization and communication skills, team player and flexible.
