Cost Accounting Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Provide Support to plant Cost Accountants with year end cost rolls
• Variance analysis and reporting for all brands
• Provide physical inventory support for various lighting plants as needed (travel required)
• Monitor cycle count program to assure compliance with corporate cycle count certification requirements
• Responsible for month end closing journal entries and reports
• Serve as first line of support for all SAP system questions from field accounting staff.
• Resolve production and inventory questions from the operations group
• Annual budget preparation and review
• Compile assigned year end schedules
• Special assignments as required

 
Education and Work Experience Required:

• Bachelors Degree in  Accounting
• 7(+)years of Cost Accounting experience
• Computer literate:  Excel, Word, and Access
• SAP experience a plus
