Coordinator, Business Systems (Sports Management/Finance/Admin)The Business Systems Application Support Specialist will provide functional, technical and project-related support for PeopleSoft Financials and HR. This position will also be responsible for gathering business requirements, project leadership and documenting functional and technical specifications on a variety of software initiatives.
Major Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day Application Support for PeopleSoft Finance and HR: PeopleSoft Security Administration Troubleshoot issues both technical and functional as they arise Participation in on-call rotation Work with other groups within the IT department to resolve issues within the application environment Work with and communicate with business units though completion of assigned system tasks Participate in software development efforts; documentation of business processes, development of functional and technical specifications, testing and deployment of solutions
Required Skills/Knowledge
Ability to provide outstanding application support to business users Aptitude for research, analysis and resolution of problems Strong working knowledge of the following tools: MS Word, Excel, Access, Visio, Project Strong attention to detail Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to communicate clearly, concisely both orally and in writing Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team Project Management skills
Experience Needed
5 years of significant hands-on experience: Functional understanding of PeopleSoft Financials including General Ledger, Asset Management, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Accounts Receivables & Billing. Supporting and/or developing customizations in PeopleSoft V8.4 or higher. Proficient in PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine specific to PeopleSoft, Process Scheduler, SQR, SQL, Workflow, Tree Manager & PeopleSoft Internet Architecture. Experienced in the migration of Application Designer Projects and External Objects and Code Review. Proficient in Crystal Reports and nVision reporting
Educational Background Required
Bachelor's Degree - Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology
