Sitting on the management team and reporting into the Director of Finance, the successful candidate will be taking on a lead role in accelerating top line growth and establishing the Canadian Division as a National Leader. Responsibilities * Establish financial targets, develop and implement KPI for the division * Managing the performance of the business through review and analysis of manufacturing operating variances and inventory to ensure financial and operational targets are being met * Taking on a business partnering role, supporting operations teams (production, quality, engineering etc) on financial objectives and recommending cost savings and efficiency improvements * Supporting the strategic planning process Managing the annual budget process in conjunction with corporate objectives * Managing the development of standard costs and standardizing costing across the division * Leading the capital expenditure process * Continuing to lead and strengthen the internal control framework within the business unit * Stewardship over Lean Manufacturing initiatives and leading lean teams to improve processes * Develop, lead and manage a team of 5 direct reports (establishing departmental goals, training, career development and establishing team effectiveness) Requirements * CMA, CGA designated * University degree in Accounting/Finance/Business * Minimum 7 years of progressive finance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong costing focus * Ability to identify financial and operational weaknesses and implement effective solutions * Proven experience with providing business consultative support to Operations Teams Ability to effectively manage people, timeliness, projects and key initiatives Category Management $ 100-110KApplyTell A Friend
