Great opportunity for a large Baltimore based company is seeking a Controller. Controller (accounting manager) reports to the CFO and will be responsible for managing the full cycle accounting including month-end close and financial reporting for an entire division of the company. Controller will also have responsibility for oversight of all accounting and finance functions, working closely with ERP system, tracking profit and loss for all projects, financial planning and analysis, driving profitability, and all other duties related to being a controller of a large privately owned organization. Any exposure to percentage of completion or job costing is a plus. Candidate should be advanced in Excel and ideally has some SQL exposure. A degree in accounting/finance and 5-10+ of experience is ideal. Controller should have strong supervisory experience. Experience in industries such as engineering, architecture, construction, manufacturing etc. are a plus. CPA and or public accounting experience in the early part of your career will always help in consideration.
