Contracts Manager 3
Northrop Grumman Technical Services sector is seeking a Contracts Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Herndon, VA or Aberdeen, MD.
Put your years of experience into a future of excellence. The qualified applicant will support Northrop Grumman's ORS Business Unit, one of three BUs in the Integrated Logistics & Modernization Division (ILMD), Technical Services Sector.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Responsibilities include the management and professional development of Contracts Administrators assigned to the BU; contractual support to ILMD new business capture efforts including Corporate C101 bid reviews, as well as on-going programs; senior management and customer interface; and the implementation and support of Division guidelines which support and align with Sector and Corporate policies and procedures.
• Monitor BU contract requirements to ensure sound business practices, provide risk mitigation, and provide accurate interpretation of Government contracting practices to include FAR, DFAR, and, where appropriate, commercial, FMS or international contract law.
• Responsible for BU contract audit compliance to include adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and internal NGC/TS policies and procedures.
• Work assignments may include the preparation and administration as well as the review and management of Work at Risk documents, License Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Non Disclosure Agreements, Organizational Conflict of Interest Plans, and other supporting contractual documents.
• Must be willing to travel up to 20%
Basic Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
• Bachelors Degree 16 Years with Bachelors; 14 Year with Masters
• Expert knowledge of FAR/DFAR
• Must be able to obtain a government TS or higher security clearance
Preferred Qualifications: Prior management experience
Active TS clearance
