Members of the Consumer Finance - Model Risk Management group require a detailed understanding of financial and economic models and valuation methodologies used for valuation of mortgage whole loans, mortgage servicing assets, and residuals or retained interests resulting from securitization of mortgage, home equity, and credit card assets. This team leverages experience with models used for borrower prepayment analysis, default rate forecasting, and loss severity analysis, providing an in-depth understanding and reviews of risk management approaches and models , as well as relevant accounting guidance for fair value measurement and allowances for loan losses.

Considerable knowledge in the Consumer Finance Industry and Banking with exposure to Finance and Risk Management and working as part of an engagement team.



Working knowledge supervising and consulting of accounting for mortgage servicing under FAS 140, FAS 133



Demonstrated thorough knowledge of the following areas:

ââ,¬Â¢ valuation methodologies and tools used for fair value measurement of consumer assets;

ââ,¬Â¢ mortgage whole loans, mortgage servicing assets, and asset securitization residuals/retained interests;

ââ,¬Â¢ model risk management techniques and model-related control activities;

ââ,¬Â¢ relevant accounting guidance for fair value measurement and allowance for loan losses.



Proven experience developing, testing, implementing, and operating complex financial and economic models used for valuation of assets.



Demonstrated ability to develop models in SAS, Excel/VBA, Matlab, and other commonly used modeling platforms.

Bachelor Degree in Accounting or business related field

Preferred Skills:
