Compliance/Internal Auditor Oct. 17, 2011 - Nov. 17, 2011 Location: Cheyenne, WY Salary Range: DOE Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt Type: Full Time Department: Meridian Trust FCU Description: Responsible for ensuring the policies and procedures of the Credit Union comply with appropriate laws and regulations. Analyzes new and pending laws that could directly affect the Credit Union's current practices and communicate those changes to the organization. Validates organizational compliance by conducting internal audits and provides recommendations where needed. Duties: This person must love to go through the details, crunch numbers, be able to back into numbers and go through documentation for compliance and quality. Must be able to work in small teams and communicate effectively and professionally to other members of staff, external auditors, BOD, Supervisory Committee and general membership. Knowledge of NCUA regulations and federal regulations. Comfortable navigating and working on documentation imaging software, report writing, compiling and time management.
