Collections Specialist II
Title: Collections Specialist II Location: Alabama-Hoover Other Locations: Conduct inbound and outbound collection calls for the purpose of resolving the delinquency status of past due customers. Collect delinquent payments, working with customers to prevent liquidation while minimizing company interest losses. Document activity.
Full-time schedule requires: Two evening shifts per week (12:30pm - 9:00pm) Two - three weekend shifts per month (8:00am - 12:00pm) Additional weekend and holiday hours may be required.
3 years experience. High School Diploma or equivalent. Good written and oral communication skills. Detail oriented. Good organizational skills. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel and Word
3 years credit/collection experience and knowledge of Fair Debt Collections Practices Act required. Knowledge of collection procedures, bankruptcy laws and real estate a plus.
