Collections Specialist I
Title: Collections Specialist I Location: Alabama-Hoover Other Locations: Conduct inbound and outbound collection calls for the purpose of resolving the delinquency status of past due customers. Collect delinquent payments, working with customers to prevent liquidation while minimizing company interest losses. Document activity.
Full-Time schedule requires: Two evening shifts per week (12:30pm - 9:00pm) Two to three weekend shifts per month (8:00am - 12:00pm) Additional weekend and holiday work may be required
High School Diploma or equivalent. Good written and oral communication skills. Detail oriented. Good organizational skills. PC proficient. Familiar with Windows and MS Office suite. Excellent keyboarding skills.
1-3 years credit/collection experience and knowledge of Fair Debt Collections Practices Act preferred. Knowledge of collection procedures, bankruptcy laws and real estate a plus.
