Job Descriptions: Help First American Payment Systems continue as a leader in the credit card processing industry by acting as the Collections Specialist. Your responsibilities would include contacting lease customers with outstanding debt or delinquent accounts. Position includes calling on past due and charge-off accounts, working out payment plans, skip tracing, and sending out collection letters. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, motivation, customer service skills, administrative skills, work habits, analytical skills, interpersonal skills and organizational skills. The hours for this position will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Required Experience: Required Qualifications: * Uses superior customer-oriented telephone etiquette to get information. Greets callers, establishes rapport, projects professional tone, handles complaints, and records statistics on each call. * Exhibits meticulous attention to detail. Is committed to producing accurate and high-quality work. * Has a minimum of 1 year of collections experience. * Excellent attendance record Preferred Qualifications: * Demonstrates persistence, overcomes obstacles, and strives to improve skills and achieve goals. * Experience informing clients, superiors, peers, and direct reports based on their information needs. * Can be trusted to handle extremely confidential and sensitive information. * Capable of facilitating discussion between individuals with differing perspectives. * Has effective organizational skills and can keep files and work area organized.
