ITASCA AREA - ITASCA, IL - COLLECTIONS REPRESENTATIVE - Up to $15/hr to start
Our client, a freight forward and customs brokerage company, has an immediate opening for a Collections Representative.
You job duties will include:
Administering collections on customer accounts to reduce aging receivables
Assisting the organization in meeting its goals for quick customer payments
Conducting research and maintaining various tracking reports
Executing 10 day demand letters
Occasionally assisting with cash application errors, wire applications, NSF checks, and bank runs.
Candidates applying for this position must possess:
A minimum of 1-2 years of Commercial Collections experience
Strong Excel skills
Some sort of experience with Cash Applications
Do to the nature of our client's business, any candidate with AS400 experience or a background in freight forwarding would be preferable, although this experience is not required to apply.
It should also be made known that you will be working in a faced paced environment, so our client is looking for those who can remain calm under pressure and consistently work well in a team-environment.
The starting compensation for this position is up to $15/hr. The benefits are great and include medical, dental, vision, life, 401k, profit sharing, and more!
