Responsibilities include providing small to medium sized clients with both recurring and special project accounting assistance. Qualifications/Requirements: * Candidate must have prior full charge bookkeeper/staff accountant experience * 4 years minimum experience with computerized accounting systems, including: * General ledger through financial statement - * Experience with QuickBooks, Peachtree and/or Creative Solutions preferred * Fixed assets and depreciation - * Experience with FX and/or FAS preferred * Payroll, including preparation of quarterly and annual payroll tax filings * Account reconciliations and workpaper preparation experience * Proficiency with MS Office software, including Excel, Word (Access not required, but preferred) * Ability to travel to client locations throughout the Detroit tri-county area * Accounting BBA preferred - Associates degree required * CPA or CMA not requiredWe thank all who express interest in this opportunity; however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
