Job Description
JOB SUMMARY Dynamic opportunity for a strategic thinker to spearhead the overall direction, administration and coordination of all activities of the Accounting, Cage, and Financial Analysis of the Finance Department, Risk Management, and Compliance areas, in accordance with the Mission and Objectives of the Company, as well as established policies, procedures and controls. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Generally oversees the accounting, procedures, and management of Accounting and Cage personnel. * Oversees the general ledger, including month-end closes. * Prepares and balances month end financial statements in a timely manner. * Appraises the organization's financial position and issues periodic reports on organization's financial stability, liquidity, and growth. * Conducts various account analyses as needed or requested. * Designs and implements current budgets and collects and reviews accounting data. * Maintains financial records and transactions as required. * Assists with year-end audit preparations. * Acts as resource to department managers on accounting/budget related issues. * Evaluates and makes recommendations on Casino internal control issues. * Assists with preparation of State and Federal Reports. * Responsible for and insures compliance with all Tribal, State, and Federal regulations. * Establishes and maintains current departmental policies and procedures. Insures operations of Fiscal areas are in accordance with internal controls. * Responsible for ongoing training and development of Fiscal Departments. * Maintains confidentiality. Promotes positive relations with all parties position interacts with. * Directs and coordinates the establishment of budget programs. * Attends and participates in department managers meetings. * Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES To act in financial matters in accordance with Casino policies and procedures, ensuring sound and ethical accounting practices. QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of standard accounting procedures and 5 to 10 years experience in accounting, statistical, financial reporting, and general ledger. Previous experience in the entertainment/hospitality field is highly desired but not required. Must possess strong written and oral communication skills. Must practice a positive team oriented philosophy. Must have a minimum of 5 years management experience. SPECIAL QUALIFACTIONS Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, analysis and financial statement interpretation required. Must be extremely numbers oriented and computer literate, with superior spreadsheet skills. Proficiency in MAS200 software, experience with on-line slot accounting, player tracking, table games based computer software, and Info-Genesis POS system, highly preferred. Minimum of five(5) years experience in accounting, preferably in the gaming industry with progressive supervisory/managerial experience required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related area from a four-year college or university; or five to six years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
