About the company : Leading Global Asset Manager Job description : Global Asset Manager is looking for a Chief Compliance Officer for the New York City office. Candidates should have 7-15 years of experience covering Investment Advisor/Investment Company compliance. Who we are looking for : The Chief Compliance Officer should have a strong knowledge of the Investment Advisor's act and a broad based asset management compliance background. This firm is registered, thus RIA experience is a must. The Chief Compliance Officer will cover the following areas: oversight policies & procedures, annual review, internal controls, maintaining a monitoring program, keeping up to date with all new legislation, point person for all regulatory requests/exams/inquiries, advise the Board and senior management on all emerging compliance issues, liaise with internal & external counsel, Code of Ethics, gifts & entertainment s position is within a growing global asset manager.
