We are looking for a Controller to be responsible for the accounting and financial reporting functions of Global Impact, including overall responsibility for the day-to-day activities of the Finance Team. In addition, this person will be accountable for the preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements for Global Impact and the combined federal campaigns that it manages, and financial analyses and other financial information, including tax analyses needed for the form 990 and other tax authorities. A Bachelors or Masters degree in accounting or finance and a minimum of eight years experience in finance, or related fields required. Certified Public Accountant strongly preferred. Candidates must demonstrate a strong track record of team management. Experience monitoring existing internal controls over procurement, payroll, receipts, and disbursements is a must. As well as identifying and recommending improvements in internal control and other accounting system processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness and/or reduce operational risk. Additionally, the ability to ensure that distributions to member charities and to donor-designated charities are accurate and occur within established Global Impact deadlines and that written procedures exist for all major accounting processes is expected.
