Job Description: Responsible for supervising the activities of a team of inbound/outbound sales representatives in a telephone sales environment. Duties may include supervising workflow and quality of sales representatives; working with management to identify opportunities; interface with other Bank departments; communicate company policy, procedures and practices. Specifically, this position is located in the Minneapolis Campus.
The Call Center Sales Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a team of Telesales consultants whose primary focus is: 1) Building solid relationships with referral partners, the Wells Fargo Advisors (team members) by developing and presenting a value proposition, creating and presenting lead identification strategies. 2) Receiving customer referrals/leads from the Financial Advisors and converting those referrals/leads into mortgage loan applications. 3) Remaining accountable to referral partner, customer and others during all aspects of the mortgage financing process.
Primary duties for this position are to: -Plan, organize and supervise the activities of the WFA Telesales staff including establishing and monitoring goals, implementing policies and procedures, and overseeing compliance to Wells Fargo and any outside agencies standards and requirements. -Select, orient and train staff capable of meeting projected human resource needs. -Recommend and/or make decisions in personnel-related matters (performance reviews, terminations, etc.). -Identify and resolve situations that could potentially effect legal compliance with initial application, as well as those situations that could potentially impact the processing and closing of a loan. -Work with partner (WFA) on loan level escalations and service concerns, communicate with all parties (sales, FF, partner) to ensure successful and compliant resolution to situation. -Serve as a liaison between Telesales and Fulfillment Services groups. -Clarify pricing policies and coordinate pricing exceptions to maintain appropriate yields and compliance with income targets. -Maintain a high level of communication between staff and management regarding loan origination, to help ensure accurate information is delivered to customers/borrowers and that problems are handled in a timely manner. -Ensure the data entry of the unit's timecards into the payroll processing system. -Calculate, monitor, and approve incentive payments. -Maximize customer service and customer satisfaction. -Produce reporting on all projects and appropriate statistics related to programs.
Basic Qualifications: 3+ years sales and customer service experience.
Minimum Qualifications: Proven leader; coach teams to exceed departmental goals; motivate and provide performance feedback to staff, all in a fast-paced and ever changing environment. Strong experience in resolving and working through escalated complex customer issues. Demonstrated experience and proven ability to recognize sales and service opportunities; provide exceptional customer satisfaction; retain and grow our customer relationships. Strong organizational, written and verbal communications, problem solving and interpersonal skills with all levels of staff to include management. Demonstrated ability to communicate confidentially and professionally.
-3+ years sales and customer service experience. -Proficiency in PC applications including Windows and MS Office.
Preferred Skills: -Good understanding of the competitive nature of the mortgage business. -Strong underwriting knowledge; ability to analyze risk characteristics of a file to determine if it meets quality standards.
