C++ Developer UNIX Senior, C, Data Structures
This is an a ongoing need for Senior level UNIX / C++ Developer / C++ Software Developer / Programmer candidates with strong, if not "expert level", LINUX or UNIX C++ or LINUX or UNIX/ C with three years+ of strong development or programming experience, an expert in C++/ LINUX or UNIX with some UNIX/C programming or expert level "C" LINIX or UNIX with some C++, both with strong Data Structures & STL, ideally also with multithreaded systems, (financial applications not necessary, any other applications will be acceptable, telecom, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, retail, research applications, etc. complete training in financial applications will be provided), exceptional problem solving skills with senior level experience in Data Structures specifically Binary Trees, Linked Lists, Hash Tables, Hash Maps, Static Variables, Static Functions, Constructors, Destructors, Vectors, Inline, Dynamic Memory Allocation, TCP/IP and strong experience with Algorithmic Complexities. As well as strong analytical skills, and excellent written and verbal communications skills. Any design patterns or financial programming experience a plus. Bright candidates with a Bachelors in Computer Science or closely related field, ideally a Masters or Ph.D degree. The system processes and distributes hundreds of thousands of transactions (ticks) per second. It also calculates and defines many market benchmarks for professional traders, including the currency and bond market rates. As a member of the team, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to offer new market data and services while building new system infrastructures. (Strong LINUX or UNIX/C++ and "C" candidates with other applications experience such as Telecomm, Pharmaceutical Research or other areas will be thoroughly trained in Financial Applications).
