Business Systems Analyst Lead
Business Systems Analyst LeadProject Support - Will be assigned as the primary BSA to support technical treasury projects (small and large). For large projects, the BSA will work with assigned Project Manager, Lead Architect and Lead Developer to execute initiatives on time and within budget. Will also be directly responsible to work with the business to document scope, document business/technical requirements, manage User Acceptance testing, support implementation and post implementation activities. For small projects, the BSA will be the acting Project Manager and responsible for the execution of the project end to end. Strategic Partner - Will learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the business processes and the systems and technology that supports the Treasury businesses as well as stay current in technical enhancements, methodology's and trends related to the assigned business and systems. The BSA will also assist in analyzing the existing systems or procedures to identify opportunities for technical or procedural improvements and serve as a liaison between software vendors and business units (or between users and other corporate areas). Finally, the BSA will provide assistance and documentation for SOX compliance and external/internal audits as needed. Basic Qualifications· Bachelor's degree in a technically related field of study.· Must have at least 7-10 years of progressively responsible experience as a Business Systems Analyst or business analyst working with business partners to align technology solutions with business strategies.· Demonstrated experience in understanding how to identify and document business scope and requirements using SDLC methodology. Other Traits, Characteristics & Experience· Interpersonal skills - the ability to work well with other IT and business groups. (E.g. communicate scope and requirements to Huntington's IT team, which includes application development, QA Testing and Implementation Teams).· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Visio.· Understanding of Project Management Methodology (Waterfall).· Understanding of UAT Testing Methodology's.· An independent problem solver who is self-directed.· Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.· Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and oral and written communication skills.· Proven ability to lead complex efforts.· Preferred experience in Treasury Systems areas, from an analyst perspective.·
