Koch Fertilizer Canada ULC,operates a production facility in Brandon, Manitobawhich produces primarily anhydrous ammonia, ammoniumnitrate, UAN and urea. In addition, Koch Fertilizer, LLCowns storage and terminaling assets in northwest Europewith trading offices in Switzerland, France and UnitedKingdom. Koch Fertilizer LLC is looking for a motivatedindividual to join our IT Terminal Automation Team as aBusiness Systems Analyst. This is a full-time rolereporting to the Information Technology department atour corporate headquarters in Wichita, Kansas. TheAutomation Team is responsible for integration andmanagement of our enterprise system which automates theloading of bulk product into transport vesselsthroughout the U.S. central plains and Canada. Thecandidate selected for this role will be working closelywith information technology peers in the Wichita office,operations personnel in the field and the engineeringresources of various KF field projects. The typicalworkday of a successful candidate for this role willentail:â?¢ 24x7x365 shared monitoring and remote troubleshootingof the automation systemâ?¢ Addressing customer requests for supportâ?¢ Identification and implementation of enhancements tothe existing automation systemâ?¢ Modification of systems to meet changing businessneedsâ?¢ Continued integration of the system at remotefacilities in need of automation
Requirements:
â?¢ On-call rotation requiring some after-hours supportâ?¢ 20% travel - most travel is within the continental USbut some international travel may applyâ?¢ Strong familiarity with real-time SCADA systems insupport of operational environmentsâ?¢ 5+ years experience in SCADA or related fieldsâ?¢ Basic knowledge of electrical engineering, networking,server management, and relational databasesâ?¢ Proven organizational, project management andcommunication skillsâ?¢ H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.â?¢ Associates or two year vocational degree in a relatedtechnical field from an accredited institutionPreferredâ?¢ Networking skillsâ?¢ Experience with field devices such as ProgrammableLogic Controllers and the accompanying network / serialcommunications necessary for their operationâ?¢ Knowledge of the fertilizer or other bulk commodityindustry and associated compliance obligationsâ?¢ Bachelors degree in engineering or related technicalfield from an accredited institution
