Description
Key Role: Perform business analysis functions, lead the design of operational metrics for a DoD client, and design, assess, and provide improvements to metrics for operational functional areas. Provide thought leadership in the development of metrics and reports, quantitative views, and analysis. Provide a means to the development of a comprehensive business model that allows for the evaluation of the client's operational performance from a business perspective at every level in the organization. Assist with providing a full range of business modeling practices and the means of tracking and managing data collection and reporting functions, including providing analytical support for the review and development of policy, procedures, roles, and responsibilities. Analyze and provide alignment with the agency's strategy, budget, manpower, and integration to enterprise architecture and like initiatives. Coordinate ongoing management, organizational, and process reform initiatives in the client's organization, use Microsoft Office and other software to prepare business cases, and perform team lead functions of assigning, reviewing, and managing the work of others on the team and subcontractors, if applicable. Provide analytical support for improving the efficiency of business operations, assessing the cost and hours budget, and performing and producing components of each mission area, site, and customer and evaluate results in comparison to the client's strategic plan. This position is located in Indianapolis, IN.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: -6+ years of experience with leading client delivery of work packages and facilitating information gathering activities -4+ years of experience with operational analysis or management, financial analysis, metrics development, or business modeling -Experience in a leadership, supervisory, or people development role -Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Access -Ability to take information from a wide variety of sources and ensure products are crisp, succinct, and client-ready -Ability to obtain a security clearance -BA or BS degree required
Additional Qualifications: -Experience in DoD with finance and working capital funds preferred -Experience with DoD budgeting systems and processes -Ability to clearly articulate complex concepts in simple terms to diverse audiences of one to twenty people
