Develop operational and process review procedures for correspondent lenders.
Develop audit review score cards and MIS.
Review correspondents on all aspects of performance, including adherence to CitiMortgage standards, regulatory guidelines, investor requirements, as well as mitigation of operational risk.
Partner with senior leaders to ensure correspondent processes and expectations are defined clearly and appropriately.
Partner with process owners to enhance CitiMortgage origination processes.
Prepare regular reports and trending analysis regarding correspondent performance.
This role will be a Manager of Managers
The ability to multiple shifts, multiple sites (including offshore) and multiple processes is fundamental to this position.
Manage multiple processes to ensure adherence to agency, regulator, and internal risk and compliance guideline.
Work closely with internal business partners in credit policy, legal, QA, risk, complinace, sales, and middle office support.
Operate with direct interaction with senior management of external clients.

Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent experience; MBA preferred
Significant mortgage industry experience, including correspondent originations, is required
Audit experience required
Ability to build relationships with business partners across the organization.

Must be able to effectively manage, confront and resolve conflict without impacting the relationships.
Excellent judgment, decision making and organization skills
Strong analytic ability and problem solving mindset
