Business Analyst
Immediate need for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in Des Moines, IA. This role will be focused on gathering and documenting requirements for production issues.
Successful candidate will complete the following duties within the role:
- Create and assess current and future process models for the purposes of creating common understanding and uncovering process issues
- Drive the gathering and definition of the business and functional requirements working closely with the end-users, programmers, and other business partners throughout this process.
- Document the business and functional requirements and obtain sign-off/approval through a system walk through.
- Identify and manage issues and play an active role in issue resolution.
- Partner with project leaders to ensure scope is being adhered to and proper change management is enforced.
- May need to assist in developing Test Plans/Testing Strategy. Understand the changes to insure a comprehensive test is planned.
-May need to assist in developing Testing Checklists/Test Cases based on requirements and impact analysis.
-May need to assist in Executing testing situations based on Testing Checklists/Test Cases by the target date with a high level of accuracy and quality.
- Validate system functionality by identifying, analyzing, and documenting defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions, outputs, online screens, and content.
- Provide testing coordination, defect management, communication and follow-up with the UAT testers to ensure all aspects are coordinated and successfully tested and sign-off/approval is obtained.
Data modeling experience is a plus.
Requirements:
Requirments of this position will be tto have recent experience as a Business Analyst with requirments gathering. Must have solid background within local industries in the Des Moines Area.
