Qualifications/Work Experience
• 3 years experience as an individual contributor in a business finance environment; prefer experience in both public and private accounting • Strong knowledge of Excel and Access. Demonstrated ability to comprehend and employ metrics, and to use as the basis to analyze performance • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply independently initiated work (self-starter) and take a hands-on approach to work across functional departments • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Strong organizational and analytical skills • Working knowledge of MS Product Suite • Demonstrated ability to learn and take more responsibility Essential Duties & Responsibilities (detailed descriptions) Financial Analyst • Consolidates financials for all SPS on a monthly basis; act as a support Finance resource to divisional teams. • Monthly account reconciliation, month end closing journal entries • Develop appropriate templates for divisional finance leads to use for capturing information • Business liaison to AR for customer invoicing and AP for vendor payments. • Coordinate and direct all aspects of the monthly and quarterly projections. • Perform in-depth financial analysis of division's financial statements and propose recommendations to management. • Serve as system administrator for budget system
Business Analyst • Act as lead analyst responsible for analyzing pricing master data, pricing master files and data cleansing as it relates to item pricing across all divisions of Stryker Corporation. • Partner with IT team to develop automated analysis tool • Follow through with customers to monitor ongoing performance against contractual obligations • Compile, audit and administer monthly, quarterly and annual report that measure key performance indicators ; Develop processes to monitor divisional sales contribution.
Education and/or Special Training
B.S. in Accounting, Prefer MBA and/or post degree certification (e.g., CPA, CMA etc.).
