Main FunctionIn this role, you would report directly to Joyen Tsang, Director and GBM of the Global Industrial Group, and serve as a dedicated resource focused on Industrial related internal projects and administrative responsibilities. This is a unique role that blends communication and analytical skills with senior exposure and hands-on experience implementing the groupâ??s global strategy.
Main Duties · Draft strategy and business update presentations for John Miller, Global Head of Industrial, and Joyen to deliver to Skip McGee and/or members of the Executive Committee · Analyze market share, profitability and strategic positioning of the Industrial Group and its sub-verticals; participate in semi-annual business planning and account review efforts · Assist in implementing new strategic initiatives for the Industrial Group · Manage the booked and engaged pipeline for the group · Create reports using Business Objects on group/banker/company revenue, client touches, DPG accounts; track closed and pipeline transactions · Investigate/research revenue reconciliation issues; update group pipeline on a regular basis · Assist in the mid year and year end performance review processes for bankers and administrative assistants · Assist in lateral recruiting processes of the group including liaising with HR, recruiting teams and head hunters · Drive client marketing initiatives for the group (client mailers, advertisements etc.) · Create/maintain group overview materials for external and internal use · Distribute relevant information to the group · Handle other administrative tasks including client events, new hire orientation, resource procurement, floor plan management, maintenance of face sheets, organizational charts, etc.
Person Requirements The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of investment banking or finance experience along with strong quantitative, qualitative, and inter-personal skills, exceptional attention to detail, the ability to juggle multiple projects, and the ability to handle significant amounts of highly confidential information with discretion.
