We are a fast growing financial services firm with a large base of customers!
We are looking for a person with a friendly, outgoing personality who has significant background in accounting and the ability to quickly learn a new accounting system.
Duties Include the Following:
Accounts Payable – process invoice payments (disbursements) to expense vendors; process disbursement of agent cash commissions (monthly).
Accounts Receivable – process cash receipts and agent repayments (deposits); process agent invoicing for expense charges.
Manage agent balance debt collection.
Track, budget, and monitor cash flow and actual versus expected expenses.
Prepare bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial reports.
Securely maintain financial records according to Company’s retention policy.
Interpret production reports and maintain appropriate records and files.
Calculate/disburse special compensation to producers (monthly) and prepare year-end 1099’s.
Requirements:
Education/Experience:
College or Business School graduate preferred.
Accounting or bookkeeping experience a must.
Insurance industry experience a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Good mathematical skill with high degree of accuracy and analytical ability is essential.
Keep good commitment management in fast-paced professional environment.
Tact, good judgment, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Must be able to keep sensitive information confidential.
