Bookkeeper/Admin

Broward based real estate development/investment company has an opening for a hands on self starter bookkeeper/administrative. The dynamic and fast paced privately held firm focuses on multi-family development and foreclosure acquisitions and is poised for aggressive expansion in the current market. This position provides direct administrative support for the President as well as Vice President of the company with duties as follows:



  • Bookkeeping

  • Accounts Receivable, Payable, Reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts.

  • Preparation of reports and general correspondence.

  • Answering phones, general clerical duties.  

  • Maintenance of files, project lists, databases and administrative work.

  • Handling of confidential and sensitive information with discretion and prudence.

  • Providing administrative support within a broad scope of discretion and a high level of confidentiality, accuracy, and timeliness.



Requirements:


  • Solid bookkeeping skills (5 years of relevant work experience).

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, QuickBooks a must.



  • Strong clerical orientation in addition to administrative skills.



  • Comfort and experience with taking instructions and dictations.



  • Willing to work within established systems and procedures.

  • Confident and pleasant personality. 

  • Ability to maintain confidential information.

  • Ability to work independently and with other departments.



  • Self-directed approach with an ability to manage time effectively.

  • Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately performing tasks and handling frequent interruptions.

  • Ability to change focus quickly without adversely affecting the task at hand.

  • Team Player

  • Willing to assist different departments when requested.

  • Bilingual English & Spanish a must
