WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?
* Work cooperatively with customers and associates to ensure optimal customer and Specialty Risk Services relationships. * Use interpersonal, teamwork, customer service and sales skills to accomplish superior customer service results for assigned accounts. * Support customer requirements to complete these activities: Provide account specific direction to all internal units involved with client. Receivable management, including all billing and collection process for SRS customers. Maintain all data needs for system calculations and set up for assigned accounts. * Responsible for workflow and processing. Involves prioritizing, ensuring timeliness, maintaining a level of quality, providing recommendations, and reporting variances. WHAT IS THE COMPENSATION OPPORTUNITY? At the Hartford, our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay competitive base salaries and reward performance. The base salary for this position ranges from $40,000 to $50,000. In addition, you will be eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits program including Medical, Dental, Life and Disability Insurance, a 401K Plan, an Employee Stock Purchase Plan and more. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? * College degree in a business related (including insurance, finance, mathematics, actuarial science, etc.) or six to eight years work experience in a technical or financial casualty insurance program (i.e., rating, pricing, control pricing, underwriting, insurance, etc.), or comparable position requiring a broad spectrum of technical/financial insurance knowledge and skills. * Experience working in a windows based computer environment required, along with strong Word and Excel skills. * Excellent customer service skills and mastery in planning and organization. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Individual must possess a high level of initiative and be a self-starter, self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. * Must be extremely detail-oriented, accurate, and able to work on multiple assignments simultaneously. Efficiency and ability to prioritize are essential. * Demonstrates excellent problem solving skills and sound judgment. WHAT ELSE CAN YOU TELL ME?
