Position Summary: TMX Finance is seeking a Collections Representative to join the contact center supporting our new online business, TMX Credit. This role will be responsible for collecting on past due customer accounts and will involve contacting customers with past due balances, negotiating payment terms to resolve those balances, and receive inbound calls from past due customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Place outbound calls to past due customers to collect outstanding balance on accounts. * Negotiate payment arrangements within guidelines set, and correctly record transactions and customer interactions in system. * Receive inbound calls from customers wishing to make a payment or with questions. * Follow all federal and state guidelines including FDCPA. * Perform basic account maintenance activities. * Meet Quality Assurance Requirements and other key performance metrics.
Specific knowledge, skills and abilities: * Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. * Excellent listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections. * Strong work ethic and self-starter, able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced business environment. * Ability to learn and navigate new software quickly * Ability to type 30 wpm+ * Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required * Previous telesales or collections experience a plus, but not required * Bilingual (English/Spanish) required Minimum Required Qualifications * Credit and criminal background check required to include MVR * Must be at least 19 years of age TitleMax is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
