Our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania client, a well-known, national company within the financial services industry is seeking a candidate at either the Manager or Director-level in Audit due to growth! The Group is looking for candidates at either level due to the expansion of the Department and rapid growth of the company. There will be very little travel with great benefits and a strong work life balance!
Responsibilities Include: * Be responsible for assisting in the performance of our integrated audit approach that would include a combination of financial, operational, and information system audit processes for various internal business units * Be responsible for evaluating the following criteria for all areas reviewed in a high-quality, professional manner with adequacy of internal controls, reliability of accounting information, quality of ongoing operations of the areas reviewed, and compliance with applicable regulations and standards * Be responsible for analyzing and evaluating the adequacy of design and effectiveness of internal controls * Be responsible for applying basic analytical skills to form hypothesis and draw conclusions * Be responsible for enhancing and developing communications and problem solving skills * Be responsible for executing and documenting audit program tests for financial, operational, and system audits * Be responsible for identifying and documenting audit issues * Be responsible for completing work within defined plans, budgets, and schedules
Selected candidates will have a BS degree in Accounting (3.0 GPA or higher) and 5+ years of auditing experience out of financial services (corporate industry or public accounting) with a strong preference for banking or financial services clients.
