Our University, a NCAA Division I member of the Colonial Athletic Association, is accepting applications for the position of Athletic Academic Advisor. The individual will assist in overall academic advising for student-athletes. Academic responsibilities will include monitoring degree requirements to assist student-athletes with their graduation goals, tracking NCAA progress towards degree requirements, coordinating tutorial program for assigned teams, establishing work relationships with professors and support services on campus, assisting in the recruitment process of prospects and maintaining detailed academic reports for required NCAA reporting and compliance-related activities.

Qualifications:
A Master's degree or bachelor's degree with experience equivalent to an advanced degree is required. The applicant must have experience in advising collegiate student-athletes, knowledge of NCAA eligibility rules and regulations, basic understanding of the Academic Progress Rate (APR), effective communication skills, and strong organizational and computer skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience advising Division I student-athletes. Candidates should submit a cover letter, resume and a list of three recent references.
